Featured Employee | Meet Caleb

At New Tradition Homes, our homes are a reflection of the dedicated, passionate team that builds them. Today, we’re excited to introduce you to a team member that epitomizes New Tradition’s values and has built hundreds of homes over his notable career. Say hello to our construction manager, Caleb! 

Tell us about yourself and your career.

I started in the construction industry in 1996 as a siding installer and painting laborer. After graduating high school in 1998, I was a full-time siding supervisor for my brothers’ company, and became a partner in that business from 1999 until 2002. I started with New Tradition Homes as an assistant builder in 2002, becoming a lead builder in 2003. I left in 2006 to start my own home building business in South Carolina, but returned to work with New Tradition Homes in 2012. During my time here I have been involved in the production and warranty departments as a team member and manager, and I currently oversee our construction and warranty departments. I am also a part of our Building Science Team, a board member on the Building Industry Association of Clark County Board of Directors, and a BIAW State Director.

How did you get into new home construction?

I was introduced to the construction industry by my older brother when I was 14. I would work after school, weekends, and summers.

How long have you been with New Tradition Homes?

I have been with NT twice during my career for a total of 13 years.

What is your favorite part about your job?

I enjoy collaborating with my fellow employees to make improvements and provide a fantastic home for our customers.

What is one thing you want new home shoppers to know about the New Tradition Homes construction process?

How committed we are to doing the right thing. We know with the complexities of building a home, there can be challenges, but we have great people and processes to make it enjoyable and rewarding to create with us.

How do you spend your free time? What do you do to relax?

I have a beautiful wife of 17 years and four incredible kids who I enjoy spending time with. We camp, have movie nights, and love getting together with family and friends. I also enjoy golfing, reading, watching sports, and relaxing around an evening fire.
