Energy Star Partner Of The Year For 14 Years And What It Means For You

What is the ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Award?

Most are familiar with the ENERGY STAR logo that appears on many household products and appliances. They signify products that are qualified by the EPA (Environment Protection Agency) as energy-efficient. Today, more than products and appliances are labeled this way. Homes can be built and labeled as energy-efficient products too!

As one of the first pioneers to adopt this practice, it’s crucial to us because we know home is the most important place. We partnered with EPA’s ENERGY STAR program in 2004 and have since then striven for energy excellence. Each year, an ENERGY STAR award is given to thousands of partners for products that contribute to protecting the environment. However, the highest award given is the ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year – Sustained Excellence Award. This honor is given to partners that have not only maintained their Partner of the Year status for more than two years, but have also exceeded the standard energy efficiency standards.
