March 6, 2019

At New Tradition Homes, we understand how much goes into the process of buying a new home. It’s a major investment, so you’ll want to make sure you end up with a place that’s perfectly suited for your individual wants and needs. That’s why we offer a wide range of options, and room for customization, at every step of the way. This includes the different choices of new housing developments in Vancouver. Each of these housing developments offers spacious, beautiful homes and a lovely community, in areas with plenty of things to do nearby. When looking at the new housing developments, there are many factors that should go into your decision. Obviously, location is a significant one. What are the nearby attractions, shopping, and dining? Which one is best for your commute? And if you have children, the school districts within the new housing developments will surely be important. Here Are Some Options Available in Vancouver, WA

Adam’s Glen:

Located at NE Ward Road and NE 88th Street, Adam’s Glen is a recently opened new housing development that is just outside the city, conveniently located near I-205 and Padden Parkway. If you choose to live here, you’ll have a short commute to downtown Portland, as well as PDX airport. It’s within the Hockinson School District.

Ramey Lane:

Also located in this area is Ramey Lane, at 16719 NE 97th Street. Ramey Lane is currently in Phase 3 of its development, and lots will be available soon. Families will love living near Hockinson Meadows Community Park, which has baseball and t-ball fields, soccer fields, and a playground. For man’s best friend, there’s Kane Memorial Dog Park, an off-the-leash dog area. And the park can be a great place to have a picnic, or even a spot for kids’ parties, as its picnic shelter sits up to 50 people. For another recreation option, Cedars golf course is also close by. And you’ll be sure to enjoy the shopping and dining in East Vancouver, which is one of the fastest growing neighborhoods in the city.Select from Multiple New Housing Developments in Vancouver When You Choose New Tradition Homes

Hockinson Meadows:

Hockinson Meadows, another housing development in this area, is unfortunately sold out. But the model home and sales center are still open at 16903 NE 78th Way, and you can receive information on the new Adam’s Glen and Velvet Acres housing developments.

Velvet Acres:

Velvet Acres is another brand-new housing development on the corner of NE 83rd Street and NE 182nd Avenue in East Vancouver, located in the Evergreen School District. While starting prices for most of the new housing developments range from the mid-$300s to upper $400s, Velvet Acres starts at the mid- to upper $500s. But this price comes with extra features, like 10,000-square-foot estate lots, which are rare. This also includes luxury amenities such as three-car garages, exposed aggregate driveways, full landscaping, and oversized covered patios. This development is built on wide-open land, which will offer peace and tranquility. But you won’t be removed from civilization either, as you’ll still be close to shopping and dining in the area, and only a half-hour away from Portland. Nearby attractions include the Vancouver Pumpkin Patch, a fall favorite that features a petting zoo, hayride, corn maze, and more activities. It’s located at Velvet Acres Gardens, which also has u-pick vegetables and sells produce and flowers. Kids will also love picking their own berries at Valley View Blueberries farm. The development is also within walking distance of Heritage Park, which has walking paths, basketball hoops, and a playground.

Philbrook Farm:

Philbrook Farms homes are selling now in a scenic location that provides the best of the Pacific Northwest nature. The property is a berry farm that was established in 1952. This makes for gorgeous surroundings, and you’ll also love the mature trees. For recreation, this development includes four parks, as well as walking trails. You’ll also be near Salmon Creek area for shopping and dining. Access to I-5, I-205, Legacy Hospital, and the WSU Vancouver Campus is convenient and easy. And it’s still only about 30 minutes from Portland, meaning you can experience all that the city has to offer as well.

Pleasant Hollow:

The Pleasant Hollow housing development just launched its grand opening. It is near both Philbrook Farms and the Salmon Creek area, and the properties will feature fir trees. It’s located in the Battle Ground School District and near the WSU Vancouver Campus. View the available homes and neighborhood map to see if this is the right development for you.

The Heights at Pleasant Valley:

The Heights at Pleasant Valley is located near the upscale communities of west side Salmon Creek, with quick access to shopping and dining. Like Velvet Acres, this housing development also has 10,000-square-foot estate lots, as well as luxury amenities. Its prices start in the upper $500s. But purchase a home in this community and for a limited time only, you’ll receive $7,000 to spend toward upgrades. Each of our new housing developments offers various floor plans and you can also discuss ways to further personalize your home with our in-house design team.
