Since you’re looking into custom homes, you likely already have something in mind that you want. You’ve probably already nailed down the number of bedrooms and bathrooms you need. You’re certain a two-car garage is the minimum, but you’d really love a three-car port if possible. You know that life in your new home just won’t be perfect unless your family can easily gather around the heart of the home—the kitchen.
But, while you have plenty of wants and needs, you’re also probably not an architect or an interior designer by trade. So, you could use some guidance with the open layout you’d prefer, which flooring will be the easiest to maintain when you have dogs and kids running around, and how to construct your home so you’ll capture the best views from both the dining room window and your master bedroom.
That’s why you’ve decided to choose a company like New Tradition Homes where we provide a thorough amount of new home options so that you can customize your space and make it a reflection of your family.
So, what new home options do we actually offer? Here’s just a sneak peak into the many solutions we provide our clients.
Energy Efficiency
In the Pacific Northwest, the most lush and diverse environments surround us. From the Columbia Gorge to Mount Hood and Mount St. Helens to the high deserts and the amazing rocky coastlines, few communities truly value the natural wonders like we do. That’s why energy efficiency comes standard in each New Tradition home.
No matter where you decide to build or how you decide to layout your space, we know you want to both save money and protect the environment, so we’ve loaded your new home with LED lights, blow door tested entrances, recycled content roofing, high efficient air filters, and many more features.
We didn’t want energy efficiency to be one of your upgraded new home options. We want you to move into an Energy Star-rated home knowing you’ll immediately save an average of $250 each year, while reducing greenhouse gases by 3,287 pounds per year, the equivalent of planting 39 trees.
It’ll also mean that each room of your new house will be the perfect temperature all year long, no matter how cold or hold it gets outside.
Quick Move-in or More Customization
If you want some customizations, but ultimately find a near-move-in ready home that we’ve already built in one of our existing communities, then you can get into your new space even more quickly.
At New Tradition Homes, we know each homebuyer has different ideas when it comes to customizations. One person will want to select the plot of land and have a very hands-on experience so each detail comes to fruition as realized. But, as expected, this option will take more time and more funding.
That’s why one of our new home options is to help you select either one of our pre-built homes in our communities that near perfectly matches your dream home. This will provide you a faster move-in date and lower added customization fees.
Or, you can select the floor plan of your dreams and make only slight modifications so that you save money and can move in faster than if you were expecting a more tailored home to meet your needs.
Providing various new home options allows buyers at various price points to achieve the customizations they desire while matching their budget.
Large and Small Homes
Just a few years ago everyone wanted to purchase the biggest home they could afford. Today, however, our priorities have shifted. Our clients now want a home that will meet their needs, provide some comfortable extra space, but not be overwhelmingly large for their family.
They want to see one another in the halls and not spend all weekend cleaning. They don’t need or want a large home when it’s just two or three people living in a space.
But, they still want a custom home that has high-end features, exceeds energy efficiency standards, and is a reflection of their family.
That’s why our new home options range from just over 1,300 square feet to a much larger 3,300 – with room for ample customizations from there.
When you select and build your home, we really want it to match what you’re envisioning at this very moment, and then exceed those dreams. That’s why we provide such diverse implementations.
Design Center Assistance
If you decide to move forward with New Tradition Homes, we know that a custom home doesn’t stop once you’ve solidified the floor plan, which is why we have an entire team dedicated to interior décor.
Of course we offer hundreds of high-end standard features for every room in your home so that you can have the most beautiful kitchen, bathrooms, and living room that you’ve ever imagined. But, sometimes you have specific ideas for certain rooms or desire a certain material to be incorporated into your space. That’s when our design team really shines.
Not only will the design team help you select from the overwhelming amount of standard features, but when you have adjustments to this, the team will help guide you through, room by room, so you get what you want and at the budget that works for you.
A truly custom home isn’t built in a day. It starts with a dream, your dream, then a lot of hard work, then selecting a local, talented team that can implement the dream to your exact specifications while staying on budget. That’s when New Tradition Homes excels.
If you desire a breadth of new home options, creative control, and more high-end standard features than you could ever image, paired with experts in your own backyard, then we might be the custom home builder for you. We can’t wait to make your dream come true!
New Tradition Homes is proud to be a local family owned business since 1987, and are grateful for the opportunity to serve thousands of customers in our community. We are excited to welcome these new homeowners into the NT family!
This was our first time building a home. Our experience couldn’t have gone any smoother. New Traditions has made the process so easy and stress free. The customer service we received during building, closing, and then recently at our two year check in was excellent. I can’t recommend enough.
